About this course:
This course centers on expressive journaling as a powerful tool for exploring the deep connection between mind and body. Through guided writing prompts, participants learn to uncover the emotions, memories, and thought patterns that often lie beneath chronic pain and emotional eating. Journaling becomes a bridge—helping release emotional tension, foster clarity, and connect more deeply with one’s inner world.
Drawing on insights from neuroscience, psychology, and somatic practices, the course provides practical tools to understand how the brain and nervous system respond to stress, and how these responses influence pain and appetite. Participants discover how unprocessed emotions and past experiences can get "stuck" in the body—and how writing can help move them through.
Rather than offering quick fixes, the course guides participants in building a sustainable journaling practice that promotes self-awareness, emotional healing, and a kinder relationship with the body. The ultimate goal is to replace self-blame with curiosity and compassion—creating space for lasting change, resilience, and well-being.
