After thirty years as an award-winning art director and graphic designer, I retired in 2025.
I took up surfing at 58, even after having had 26 surgeries, including a knee replacement last year. I have a fused wrist and a crippled foot, so I am a champion at overcoming physical adversity.
In embracing the third trimester of life, my goal is to embody and empower others to approach this time of life with zest and tenderness, with passion and compassion, and to weave together grief with joy, solemness with playfulness.
Our purpose is not to be perfect, but rather to be whole.
I’m a 200-hr certified yoga teacher, I’ve completed the Certificate Graduate Course at Pacifica Graduate Institute, on “Wellness in the Afternoon of Life,” and am a Journal Coach and Circle Facilitator.
I’m also an all-around, bad-ass supporter of do-whatever-your-heart desires, no matter what age you are. It doesn’t matter if you have body parts that don’t work. You have other body parts that DO work.
Let’s work together to help you adapt, have fun, and create a deeper connection with your body, your soul, and your life’s purpose.
We will touch on topics such as setting intentions, re-establishing relationship and connection with our bodies, coming to terms with grief and loss, mortality, the invisibility of our older years, what it means to be an Elder today, how Expressive Journaling works, and what we want our legacy to be (no matter how small). This is how to truly embody and enjoy the last trimester of life.
